about

In 1982 I was living with a lovely woman who was acting the play Dracula.
For some reason I asked her to read the words heard in this piece, words who's author I've long since forgotten, though it could have been myself as I was writing a lot of strange stuff back then.

It's a brooding piece full of industrial noise inspired by Throbbing Gristle and early Monte Cazaza work that was floating around in my brain.

For some reason I've always been fond of this period and the sounds and harshness of this piece. later in this album you'll come across some of my newer pieces that resonate in this same vein.
